trying to know the rabbits anatomy, since in the literature the data are uncomplete and unprecisely described. for this porpouse we have utilized until now in 30 rabbits (15 males and 15 females), from northeast of brazil. after the sacrifice of the animal and open the abdomen, was isolate the stomach, that utilize the method accustomed, gauge the capacity express in ml. the results show that the major and minor measures were of 125.30 ml and 72.50 ml for the males, of 139.50 and 72.50 ml for the females respectively, the global mean was of 97,74 ml; statistical analysis no show differences according to sex
