Abstract: we present the case of a 43-year-old woman with a history of rheumatic fever, ischemic stroke, mitral stenosis and class iii dyspnea for the last two years. transesophageal echocardiography showed severe mitral stenosis with a 0.78 cm2 area and a severe tricuspid stenosis with a 9/16 wilkins score. a successful percutaneous mitral and tricuspid valvuloplast was performed. one year later, the patient is asymptomatic.
