Extranjero en un país ajeno: Construcción del pasado y realidad histórica desde una perspectiva antropológica

the construction of the past satisfies multiple cultural and psychological necessities, since each human group elaborates its historical interpretations responding to its current preoccupations. the author explores the ways these historical constructions are produced, trying to distinguish the search for identity from the production of knowledge, and proposes an epistemological platform that enables him to delimit a possible field for an historical anthropology.
