with the objective of basing and orienting the improvement of the teaching-learning process of the matter biological agents of the fourth semester of the career of medicine, we made the critical assessment of the current program of the matter, using the theoretic method of analysis of each chapter of the program, from the founding and object of study of the matter to its evaluation system, taking into account the general objectives, and by themes, the knowledge system, including the skills and values to develop, and also the forms, methods an teaching aids. we identified the inadequacies of the program, proposed its improvement and made recommendations for its future transformation, keeping in mind the profile of the graduated of the career of medicine.
