Conocimientos sobre el uso de soluciones parenterales en profesionales de la salud del municipio Boyeros

the knowledge about parenteral solutions and the principles of their use for medical staff has great importance. because of that we designed a test for its exploration and applied it to physicians and nurses with master degree in medical emergencies or studying for it (group 1), and those who were not (group 2) working at boyeros municipality. 14 tests were obtained from group 1 and 14 from group 2. no significant differences appeared for both groups with the 5 questions and final mark. 2 professionals of group #2 failed. the most difficult question was #1 dealing with basic knowledge and the one with best performance was #5 about practical issues. although there are problems, it is stimulating to find that there are not great difficulties regarding the use of solutions, showing good practical education of the explored professionals.
