one of the objectives of the national drug program of the ministry of public health of cuba is to achieve a good use of plant-derived drugs. to this end, the active participation of different elements such as the manufacturer, the prescribing professional and the consumer, who represents the final determinant of the use of the medication, is required. this strategy is a way of fulfilling the above-mentioned objective through community-wide involvement and inter-sector cooperation.
