the pharmacognostic characterization of pedilanthus tithymaoides l. poit obtained under the conditions of organic culture in a ferriferous red hydrated soil was made. work was done to obtain the dry drug with the quality required for its utilization as a raw material or herbal drug. to this end, the numerical indexes were determined according to the national and international standing norms for plant drugs. an optimum period of conservation of 10 months in polypropylene flasks and amber glass flasks was established.
