we make an objective an objective approach of our experiencies adn those attained in other countries regarding the use of information services and resources made by general practitioners. we describe a number of requisites needed for the formation and training of family doctors as information users and thus, offer solutions and suggestions which could contribute greatly to improve the quality of primary health care services.
