El citoesqueleto de actina: una perspectiva desde la biología molecular del cáncer

a synthesis of the topics that nowadays deal with the structure and organization of the actin cytoskeleton and with the ways of signaling taking part in its regulation is made. the reviewed bibliographic information has been provided through a functional approach, without excluding the molecular mechanisms that are involved. it is also included a brief section on the participation of rho proteins in the process of malignant transformation, starting from the known fact that the morphological changes involving the actin cytoskeleton may be appreciated in the transformed tumorigenic phenotype.
