Farmacovigilancia intensiva en pacientes adultos y pediátricos

600 patients (320 children and 280 adults) were studied, who had been ramdonly selected from 2 368 cases admitted to the intensive and intermidiate care units in "juan de la cruz-martínez maceira" northern pediatric hospital and "saturnino lora" provincial teaching clinicosurgical hospital. 511 adverse reactions to drugs were detected in 201 patients 187 adults and 74 children- with an occurrence index of 61 % and 20 % respectively. the result were processed and asseased through statistical tests, naranjo？s algoritthm and benefit- risk analysis of used treatments.
