Microesferas biodegradables de liberación controlada para administración parenteral

a bibliographic review is made on a new system of drug administration: biodegradable systems of controlled action in the form of microspheres. the advantages and disadvantages, as well as the methods of obtention and the variables influencing on the characteristics and behaviour of the finished product are described. reference is made to polymers and to those active principles which were more used in the preparation of these systems and to the release mechanism of the active principle from the microspheres.
