a methodology for the calculation and analysis of quality costs was established. by using this methodology it was possible to calculate and analyze the prevention and evaluation costs and the costs by failures in 1995. different graphical techiniques, such as circular diagram, pareto, information flow and others were used in order to fulfil the objectives. the values obtained were compared with 3 economic indicators.
