Plantas medicinales de uso tradicional en Pinar del Río: Estudio etnobotánico. I

the results of a survey carried out among the inhabitants from 7 localities in the province of pinar del rio that allowed to establish the traditional use of 112 medicinal plants, which are used in 27 different affectations, are presented. the scientific names of each species, their family grouping, their taxonomic representativity, as well as the properties that are attributed to them according to the zone under study, are given. the results agree partially with those obtained by other investigators in different zones of the country.
