to carry out an updating of knowledges on implementation of acupuncture in stomatology, a bibliographic review was conducted on this subject on the base of information gathered from texts and journals consulted in reference center and through electronic localization devices like pubmed, medline and google of the past years. it was confirmed that this subject matter has validity and its implementation is very useful in the treatment of stomatologic affections.
