an intervention study on the role played by the nurse in the nursing process in primary health care at the area of the "luis carrión" polyclinic, in dos caminos, san luis, from august to december, l998, was conducted. of a universe of 53 nurses, a sample of 30 was taken at random in order to evaluate the way of acting in nursing processes and to carry out an intervention based on the deficiencies detected that will allow the nursing personnel to prioritize correctly the human needs at the primary care level, which was attained in almost the three fourth of the casuistics.
