Desempe？o de enfermería en pacientes pediátricos con estenosis del meato uretral

a descriptive and retrospective study of 15 patients with stricture of the urinary meatus that received medical attention at the cardiorenal service of the south pediatric hospital, in santiago de cuba, during the first trimester of l997, was conducted. all the data of interest were collected in a form made to this end.the main findings were the following: the most affected children were approximately 2 years old, regardless the sex; the longest hospital stay lenght was attributed to septic complications; there was a clear relationship between stricture and urinary sepsis; and the nursing personnel played a very important role in children care.
