Abstract:

considering the importance of curricular activities for medical training, this study aimed to identify and reflect on the construction of the situations used in activities at the simulation stations by the first class of the s?o carlos federal university medical school (sp-ufscar), from 2006 to 2009. this is a descriptive case study, where 57 simulations and their programs were analyzed. the results showed a predominance of stations in the area of adult and elderly health and community and family health. other variables were analyzed such as age, gender, stages of illness and health, the health care setting, areas of knowledge and others. the need was identified to restructure the ss of the ufscar medical school, developed between 2006 and 2009. this study has contributed to formulating some criteria and variables that should guide the construction of the ss, so that they can best represent the reality of medical practice.
