As a result of the multicomponent condensation reaction between the thiophenyli?dene?malo?no?nitril and malononitriles with (S)-(–)-1-phenylethylamine new heterocyclic dihydropyridine derivative [(S)-(–)-6-amino-2-imino-1-(1-phenylethyl)-4-(thiophen-2-yl)-1,2-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarbonitrile] was synthesized.
