the authors report a case of schistosomiasis mansoni with intraspinal localization on a 39 years old man who presented neurologic manifestation likely a brown-sequard syndrome. cerebrospinal fluid examination showed positive imunofluorescente test for schistosomiasis, and treatment was started at once.
