Abstract:

As rela es entre problemas de comportamento e habilidades sociais infantis, e a relevancia da avalia o desses aspectos por instrumentos de relato têm sido enfatizadas nas pesquisas. Objetiva-se: a) verificar os componentes relativos a problemas de comportamento e habilidades sociais infantis identificados por meio de um instrumento de relato n o dirigido; b) analisar a correspondência de tais indicadores aos detectados por instrumento de relato dirigido e aos referidos na literatura. Foram participantes 213 cuidadores primários de crian as em idade pré-escolar (n = 114) e escolar (n = 98). Os resultados sinalizam que instrumentos dirigidos e n o dirigidos s o complementares para a obten o de informa es, sendo que a combina o de modalidades de avalia o acrescenta à caracteriza o do repertório comportamental. The relationships between behavior problems and children social skills, such as the relevance of analysing these sides by report instruments had been emphasized in researches. It aims: a) to verify the components concerning to behavior problems and children social skills, which was identified through a undirected report instrument; b) to analyze the correlation of such indicators with ones detected by a directed report instrument and those ones referred in bibliography. The participants were 213 primary health carers of children in pre-school age (n = 114) and school age ones (n = 98). The results show that undirected and directed instruments are complementary to obtain informations. Besides, the combination of assessment modalities adds to the characterization of the behavioral repertoire.
