Geochronologic constraints on magmatic intrusions and mineralization of the Jiru porphyry copper deposit, Tibet,associated with continent-continent collisional process

Abstract:
Jiru porphyry copper deposit is located in the central parts of the Gangdese Metallogenic belt in Tibet.In site zircon U-Pb ages and molybdenite Re-Os ages indicate that the intrusion age of ore-bearing biotite adamellite is 48.68+0.49Ma,whereas the mineralization age is 48.30-50.8Ma.obviously different from Qulong,Chongjiang and Zhunuo copper deposites,which were formed during the translation period of the Gangdese orogenic belt from continental collision to strike-slip extension.The Magmatic intrusions an...
