Using an Autonomous Mobile Robot to Simulate an Environment VirtuallyDOI: -, PP. 8-13 Subject Areas: Computer Vision, Complex network models, Communication Protocols, Computer graphics and visualization, Computational Robotics, Cooperative Communications, Computer and Network Security Keywords: Autonomous Mobile Robot, Simulation, Virtual Environment Abstract Abstract :This paper discusses the use of an autonomous mobile robot to simulate an environment virtually. The autonomous mobile robot is capable of sensing its environment and making decisions based on the data it collects. The robot can be programmed to follow predetermined paths, detect obstacles, and interact with its environment in a virtual setting. The advantages of using this type of system are discussed, as well as the challenges associated with implementation. The implications for research and development in this area are also explored. Furthermore, a case study is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the autonomous mobile robot in a simulated environment. Krishnan1, V. G. and Rajan, V. (2022).
