Undescended Testis and InfertilityDOI: -, PP. 99-119 Subject Areas: Urology, Surgery & Surgical Specialties Keywords: Undescended testis, sperm, infertility, treatment Abstract Undescended testicle is seen in 3-4% of children. This rate can reach up to 40% in premature children. Treatment should be completed until the age of one year in children with undescended testicle. There is a risk of infertility and tumor development due to treatments that are not performed at the appropriate time. In addition, there may be psychological problems in children and their parents due to cosmetic reasons. It is seen that the number of experimental and clinical studies related to the effect of undescended testis on fertility is very limited. In this review, the relationship between undescended testis and infertility was investigated. ERDEM?R, F. , ZORO?LU, H. and KILI?, ?. (2021). Undescended Testis and Infertility.
