Research on Awakening of Feminine Consciousness and Personal Identity in Reproducing The Peony Pavilion from Perspective of Feminist Theory

Reproducing The Peony Pavilion, deeply rooted in the soil of excellent traditional national culture, embodies the excellent traditional Chinese culture. Based on the dream-pursuing process of three generations in Fan Haiquan’s family, the elder generation of opera artists, the awakening of feminine consciousness and searching for social identity and personal identity of the heroine Fan Shujun were analyzed from the perspective of feminist theory.
