Digitalization and the COVID-19 are profoundly changing the way university courses are taught, with blended teaching spreading to universities across the world. Through identifying the definition of hybrid teaching and blended teaching, the study explores the purpose and advantages of online-offline teaching that combines information technology and curriculum teaching. In particular, the concept of system thinking prevalent in artificial intelligence is adopted to investigate the interrelationship of components in blended teaching regarded as a system. A system architecture based on information system and control theory is proposed and a framework of teaching model and integration of information technology and interpretation teaching is designed, with Interpreting Theory and Practice course as an example.
