Research and Practice of Curriculum Ideological and Political Education in College English Based on Production-Oriented Approach

Abstract

Curriculum ideological and political education in college English is of great significance to cultivate people with mortality and establish correct values. Production-oriented Approach is a new teaching method based on the reform and practice of foreign language teaching in China. Taking Production-oriented Approach as the theoretical framework and unit teaching practice as a case, this paper discusses the path and method to realize curriculum ideological and political education in college English from various aspects such as setting of teaching objectives, selection of teaching contents, design and organization of teaching process and evaluation of teaching effectiveness.
