Nowadays, with increased competition, the organizations must promote the adequacy oforganizational skills in the pursuit of differentiation and innovation. A key factor for obtainingcompetitive advantage is the hiring and retention of talent. Therefore, it is important to becareful in conducting the selection process and allocation. The study was conducted in a mixingeconomy company of gas and energy sector to share control of the Federal Government that hasparticular characteristics in the process of recruitment and selection of people, being required bylaw the accomplishment of public competition. This article has as objective to apply themulticriteria methods MACBETH and VIP Analysis, in an integrated form, to aid the decisionmakingof a candidates group approved in public competition that will go to the interview stage.This step should receive applicants with the profile and the most appropriate expertise to work inthe function available for allocation.
