Multiview video coding is a key technology of stereo video,and disparity estimation is the most popular algorithm of current multiview video coding schemes.The theory of disparity estimation algorithm is first investigated,and several typical coding techniques are analyzed in detail.Then a novel multiview coding scheme is proposed which is based on hierarchical B pictures and correlation property of viewpoints.Experimental results show that the proposed scheme is efficient.
