STUDY ON THE PITTING INHIBITORS USING POTENTIOSTATIC-GALVANOSTATIC TRANSIENT TECHNIQUE
|
Abstract:
The Potentiostatic-Galva nostatic (P-G) transient response technique was used to study the pitting inhibitors. Using this technique, the features of the P-G response were investigated in the following systems: 304SS in 0.1 mol/L NaCl containing n-decylamine (KA) or dodecylbenzene sulfonic sodium (DBS). According to the P-G response results ,the pitting resistance of KA and DBS were evaluated, and the effect of inhibitors on the initiation and development of the pitting corrosion was explored preliminarily.
