INTERPOLATION PROBLEMS FOR RANDOM FIELDS FROM OBSERVATIONS IN AREAS THAT REPRESENT A SYSTEM OF EMBEDDED RECTANGLES

Anastasiia Florenko, Nataliia Shchestyuk, Nastasiia Zaets
Forecasting of static processes and estimation of random fields of a different nature is becoming more widespread among scientists of different specialties, and a new branch of science appears with its specific methodology. That problems of estimation of the unknown values of random fields are generalization of problems of extrapolation, interpolation and filtering of stochastic processes. The study of the dependence of the obtained formulas on the geometry and the number of embeds are the topic...

Inverse Transient Thermoelastic Problem of Semi-Infinite Thick Hollow Cylinder

Shalu D Barai, M. S. Warbhe and N. W. Khobragade
This paper is concerned with inverse transient thermoelastic problem in which we need to determine the temperature distribution, displacement function and thermal stresses of a semi-infinite hollow cylinder when the boundary conditions are known. Integral transform techniques are used to obtain the solution of the problem.

An Adaptive Time Step Scheme based on Taylor’s Remainder Term

Henry Foust
An adaptive time step method was developed based on the Taylor series remainder term associated with Euler’s method, which is utilized to solve initial value problems involving ordinary differential equations. The accuracy and stability of the developed method was determined for three test cases where one of the test cases was stiff. It is also show that the accuracy of the developed method compares well with Runge Kutta 2. In future research, this method will be applied to explicit and implicit...

On The Correct Formulation Of The Law Of The External Photoelectric Effect

Temur Z. Kalanov
The critical and correct scientific analysis of the generally accepted theory of the external photoelectric effect is proposed. The methodological basis for the analysis is the unity of formal logic and of rational dialectics. It is shown that Einstein’s formulation of the law of the photoelectric effect is not free from the following objection. The terms of Einstein’s formula characterize the quantitative determinacy (i.e., energy) which belongs and is related to the different material ob...
