Analysis of Eco-Tourism Climate Resources in Xingwen, China Based on the Comfort Index and the Negative Air (Oxygen) Ion  [PDF]

Abstract: The present work investigates an analysis of Eco-Tourism Climate Resources in Xingwen, China based on the Comfort Index and Negative Air (Oxygen) Ion (“NAI” for short in this article) concentration. The daily temperature, precipitation, wind speed, sunshine hours, and relative humidity data of the Xingwen National Meteorological Station from 1999 to 2018, as well as the NAI data of Feiwu Cave station and Shoushan Lake station in Xingwen of 2018 were used in this study. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of basic meteorological elements, the index of climate comfort of human living environment and the NAI variation in Xingwen, the eco-tourism climate resources in this area were evaluated comprehensively. The results show that: The climate is mild, the precipitation is abundant and the seasonal variation trend of precipitation and heat is similar in the study area. The annual average temperature of this area is 17.8°C, the annual average precipitation is 1096 mm, the annual average precipitation days are 186 days, the annual average relative humidity is 81%, the annual average wind speed is 1.3 m/s, and the annual average sunshine hours are 999 h. The living environment comfort level reaches the “comfort” level for 6 months per year. In addition, the concentration of NAI in Xingwen remains at the highest level 7 throughout the year, and the rate of good air quality is extremely high. Overall, the study area has high-quality ecological climate resources that are conducive to the development of forest recuperation, leisure and vacation and other ecological tourism activities.

Abstract: Geographical imbalance of China’s processing trade industries has become increasingly prominent in recent years. Chinese industrial gradient situations can be estimated by industrial gradient coefficient. The transferred industries between high-gradient region and low-gradient region are decided by industrial concentration index. Based on the analysis, this article proposes the countermeasures for promoting the transferring of China’s processing trade industries.

Abstract: This paper uses factor analysis and principal component analysis to evaluate the performance of 44 retail enterprises. The research found that the profitability and solvency of enterprises are low. The efficiency of asset operation is high and the difference between enterprises is small. Enterprises carry out chain operation, through the allocation of resources in key areas, to establish regional competitive advantage. Department store is the main form of business, and the combination of old and new forms of business has become the mainstream. Therefore, some suggestions are put forward to strengthen the supply chain management and improve the product differentiation degree.

Abstract: Under the background of accelerating urbanization, increasing aging population and decreasing fertility rate in China, all sectors of society eager for an elderly-and-children friendly environment. As public transportation, the metro is at the frontline. This article takes promoting the inclusive design of the metro environment as the research goal, inclusive design as the research perspective and progressive research as the research method. It analyzes the significance of the inclusive design of metro through pyramid theory, employs personas classification to define the inclusive group, and includes user journey to explore the touch-point of metro ride experience so as to propose a metro inclusiveness evaluation kit. With the help of the toolkit, six metro lines and 42 stations in Hangzhou were evaluated and analyzed by using the method of mobile ethnography. Based on the macro and micro analysis of horizontal comparison, it offers solutions to Hangzhou Metro’s existing problems and optimizes the inclusive performance, which can provide direction for the evaluation and optimization of the inclusive design of domestic metro construction.
Constructing Gazetteers from Volunteered Big Geo-Data Based on Hadoop

Abstract: Traditional gazetteers are built and maintained by authoritative mapping agencies. In the age of Big Data, it is possible to construct gazetteers in a data-driven approach by mining rich volunteered geographic information (VGI) from the Web. In this research, we build a scalable distributed platform and a high-performance geoprocessing workflow based on the Hadoop ecosystem to harvest crowd-sourced gazetteer entries. Using experiments based on geotagged datasets in Flickr, we find that the MapReduce-based workflow running on the spatially enabled Hadoop cluster can reduce the processing time compared with traditional desktop-based operations by an order of magnitude. We demonstrate how to use such a novel spatial-computing infrastructure to facilitate gazetteer research. In addition, we introduce a provenance-based trust model for quality assurance. This work offers new insights on enriching future gazetteers with the use of Hadoop clusters, and makes contributions in connecting GIS to the cloud computing environment for the next frontier of Big Geo-Data analytics.
The Relationships between Emotion, Sense of Coherence, Social Rhythm and Positive Mental Health in Chinese University Students during COVID-19  [PDF]

Abstract: Aim: This study explored positive mental health during the COVID-19 epidemic control period and further examined emotion, sense of coherence, social rhythm may contribute to positive mental health among a sample of 521 university students in China. Method: The questionnaires contained items concerning demographic information, Positive Mental Health Scale, Positive Affect and Negative Affect Scale, Sense of Coherence Scale and Brief Social Rhythm Scale. Results: Analysis of the data showed that positive mental health was significantly positively correlated with positive affect and sense of coherence, but negatively correlated with negative affect and social rhythm. Regression analysis also showed that positive affect, negative affect, sense of coherence, and social rhythm could predict the level of positive mental health of individuals in the context of COVID-19 epidemic control management in Chinese university students. Conclusions: Results suggest it is of great significance to keep positive affect, sense of coherence and regular social rhythm for maintaining the mental health of individuals under the influence of the spread of COVID-19. It would be useful to carefully measure each of these variables and investigate other potential factors related to positive mental health with the possibility that emotion, sense of coherence and social rhythm are mediating variables.
Pharmacokinetic study of gallocatechin-7-gallate from Pithecellobium clypearia Benth. in rats

Abstract: The pharmacokinetic profile of gallocatechin-7-gallate (J10688) was studied in rats after intravenous administration. Male and female Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats received 1, 3, and 10 mg/kg (i.v.) of J10688 and plasma drug concentrations were determined by a high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC–MS) method. The pharmacokinetic software Data Analysis System (Version 3.0) was used to calculate the pharmacokinetic parameters. For different i.v. doses of J10688, the mean peak plasma concentration (C0) values ranged from 11.26 to 50.82 mg/L, and mean area under the concentration-time curve (AUC0–t) values ranged from 1.75 to 11.80 (mg·h/L). J10688 lacked dose-dependent pharmacokinetic properties within doses between 1 and 10 mg/kg, based on the power model. The method developed in this study was sensitive, precise, and stable. The pharmacokinetic properties of J10688 in SD rats were shown to have rapid distribution and clearance values. These pharmacokinetic results may contribute to an improved understanding of the pharmacological actions of J10688

The Bauhaus, one of the most prestigious colleges of fine arts, was founded in 1919 by the architect Walter Gropius. Although it is closed in the last century, its influence is still manifested in design industries now and will continue to spread its principles to designers and artists. Even, it has a profound influence upon subsequent developments in art, architecture, graphic design, interior design, fashion design and design education. Up until now, Bauhaus ideal has always been a controversial focus that plays a crucial role in the field of design. Not only emphasizing function but also reflecting the human-oriented idea could be the greatest progress on modern design and manufacturing. Even more, harmonizing the relationship between nature and human is the ultimate goal for all the designers to create their artworks. This essay will analyze Bauhaus’s influence on modern design and manufacturing in terms of technology, architecture and design education.

Reconstruct the Heat Conduction Model with Memory Dependent Derivative  [PDF]

The classical heat conduction equation is derived from the assumption that the temperature increases immediately after heat transfer, but the increase of temperature is a slow process, so the memory-dependent heat conduction model has been reconstructed. Numerical results show that the solution of the initial boundary value problem of the new model is similar to that of the classical heat conduction equation, but its propagation speed is slower than that of the latter. In addition, the propagation speed of the former is also affected by time delay and kernel function.

Abstract: Delay discounting is an important part of intertemporal decision-making. This decision involves information about the costs and benefits of future possibilities, which affect people making decision. Episodic foresight therefore has a capacity to organize current action in view of anticipated events and concerns the imaginative of thinking about future events that often draw on the visual modality. In the clinic research, episodic foresight could improve maladaptive behaviors, including pathological gambling, obesity, drug and alcohol abuse. Our study explores the psychological mechanism and brain mechanism. We proposed that future research should further explore how the episodic foresight affects delay discounting and how episodic foresight is applied to clinic and behaviour modification.
