Avanzado el gobierno de Porfirio Díaz en México, la relación Estado-Iglesia intenta consolidarse en un pacto oficial a través de una serie de intentos de la Santa Sede por reanudar sus relaciones diplomáticas con el gobierno mexicano. El presente análisis a ade algunos elementos para abordar ese problema, en la circunstancia del proceso de romanización de la Iglesia mexicana. During Porfirio Diaz's rule as Mexican president, the Holy See attempted to reestablish diplomatic ties with the Mexican government to consolidate the relationship between Church and State in an official pact. This analysis contributes several elements to the examination of this problem, within the context of the Romanization of the Mexican Church.
