Abstract:

This study fits as qualitative research and aims to highlight the importance of supervised practice for initial teacher education. Data were obtained from the teaching expirience of two undergraduate students, when they planned and implemented a sequence of activities in an public school from Jaboticabal, in S o Paulo state, Brazil. The study discussed their choices and teaching strategies in pursuit of promoting meaningful learning of their students.
