FLUCTUACIONES ECONóMICAS EN LA AMPURIAS DEL SIGLO V ANTES DE NUESTRA ERA (Economic fluctuations in Ampurias during the fifth century BC)

Las fluctuaciones evidenciadas por el registro funerario de la Ampurias griega o Emporion (Gerona, Espa a) muestran una completa conexión económica con la civilización ibérica arcaica a lo largo del siglo V a. C. Así lo expresan las etapas de expansión y retracción consecutivas que se corresponden con la primera y segunda mitad de dicha centuria (conocida esta última como crisis ibérica), respectivamente. Ambas integran el ciclo económico arcaico de la civilización ibérica (c. 500-400). Igualmente, en la Ampurias de la segunda mitad del siglo V a. C. se da una circunstancia coincidente con la observada en Cástulo (Jaén) y Cabezo Lucero (Alicante) durante el tercer cuarto de esa centuria. Se trata de una situación conflictiva caracterizada por el descenso de la acumulación económica asociado a un notorio incremento de la diferenciación social. ENGLISH: Fluctuations evidenced by the mortuary record of Greek Ampurias or Emporion (Gerona, Spain) show a complete economic connection with the archaic Iberian civilization throughout the fifth century BC. This is manifested by the successive expansion and retraction stages corresponding to the first and the second half (Iberian crisis) of this century. Both constitute the economic cycle of the archaic Iberian civilization (c. 500-400). Additionally, in the Ampurias of the second half of the fifth century BC a circumstance occurs similar to those observed at Castulo (Jaén) and Cabezo Lucero (Alicante) during the third quarter of that century. This is a conflict characterized by a higher impoverishment associated with a marked increase in social differentiation.
