Abstract: the social and productive relations that occurs among the actors of an economic process determine its development, so it is important the construction of forces in a social and productive economy based upon the strengthening of human relations. this research aimed to analyze the socio-productive relations, based on values and principles of cooperativism, that exist among coffee farmers of the municipalities morán and andrés eloy blanco, in lara state. interviews and surveys were applied to key players and the results were analyzed using descriptive methodology in order to establish a reference describing the effects of such relationships in the production and marketing of coffee. it was determined that with respect to the values and principles of cooperative associations, 70% of producers had no idea what these values and principles are in a cooperative partnership. regarding the way these producers make the decisions to market their crops, it was found that 60% depends on transactions with the group coffee associated producers (pacca) to which they are strongly related.
