Evolución histórica del proceso de formación del psicólogo en la salud, con énfasis en la sistematización de los contenidos básicos de la profesión

a qualitative and descriptive study was carried out on tendency of historical development of the psychologist's career training in cuba, focusing on systematization of the profession basic contents from 1962 to 2011. with this purpose documents and regulations related to the redimensionalization of this professional's functions in the cuban health system were reviewed, but it was also considered necessary to interview several teachers with experience in care and teaching from different generations, as well as students that are training today, including the author's criteria in this context. the analysis and interpretation of the obtained information revealed that the psychologist's career training in the country has evolved favorably with an upward tendency in its development. the main historical tendencies are established in the teaching-learning process of the basic contents in the career training of this professional, using analysis-synthesis and historical and logical methods.
