广义修辞学视域下辞格翻译的译者主体性彰显——以《荷塘月色》三译本为例

Abstract:
译者主体性是当代翻译研究的一个重要主题，对译者主体性彰显的认识有助于译者主体性的适当构建和对译文进行有效评价。本文通过对比分析《荷塘月色》三个英译本中对原文辞格的翻译处理实例，运用广义修辞学理论探讨翻译过程中译者主体性的体现。研究认为：辞格翻译中的择语是译者主体性在译文话语构建方式上的体现；辞格翻译中的辞格重置是译者主体性在译文文本构建上的体现；广义修辞学里的修辞哲学能对译者主体性的发挥进行合理诠释。
Translator’s subjectivity is a significant topic in translation studies. To better understand its manifestations can help translators appropriately mobilize their subjectivity in the translation and make the translation efficiently evaluated. Based on three English translations of Moonlight over the Lotus Pond and by using the general rhetoric approach, the paper explores the manifestations of translator’s subjectivity in translating rhetorical devices. Finally, the paper concludes: in the translation of rhetorical devices, the selection of words and syntactical forms reflects translator’s subjectivity in constructing the discourse; the resetting of rhetorical devices embodies translator’s subjectivity in constructing the text; the general rhetoric approach can rightly explain the operation of translator’s subjectivity.
