“V + 小品词”结构的英语短语动词认知语义研究综述
A Review of Studies on English Phrasal Verbs in “V + Particle” Structure from Cognitive Semantic Approach

本文从时间和内容两个维度梳理了国内外学者在“V + 小品词”结构的英语短语动词方面的研究。从时间上来看，对动词短语的研究经历了从结构主义角度起步，到认知视角加入，并在认知视角下对意义做出详尽的解释。在内容方面，两个理论——隐喻理论与意向图式——是最常用于分析此类短语动词的语义的理论，隐喻理论通常用于解释隐喻意义，而意向图式通常用于解释基本的空间意义；除此之外，两个视角——将动词V和小品词分开或合起来理解——是国内学者的主要研究视角。最后，本文为今后在该内容上可以继续研究的方向提出了建议。
This article provides a review on “V + particle” structure in the fields of English phrasal verbs at home and abroad, focusing on research theories and perspectives used by previous scholars. From a chronological view, research on this fields evolved from structuralist approaches to the incorporation of cognitive frameworks, which have offered more profound explanations of semantic. In terms of the content, two key theories—Metaphor Theory and Image Schema—dominate the semantic analysis of phrasal verbs. Metaphor Theory is primarily applied to explain metaphorical meanings, while Image Schema is often applied to interpret spatial meanings. Additionally, two distinct perspectives—considering the verb and particle separately or as an integrated unit—are prevalent among domestic scholars. The paper concludes by suggesting directions for future research in this area.
