Cassirer’s Understanding of Man—Centered on Chapter One of “On Man”

认识自我始终是哲学探究的最高目标。然而纵观哲学史，人类自我认识的内涵和外延并不始终如一。在卡西尔看来，人类的自我认识是从完整性走向碎片化的过程，从而导致自我认识危机的产生。文章以文本研究为核心，试图从《人论》第一章中分析哲学史中对人的问题研究的变化，且基于卡西尔的观点探讨人类应如何进行自我认识及才能走出危机。
Understanding oneself has always been the highest goal of philosophical exploration. However, throughout the history of philosophy, the connotation and extension of human self-awareness have not been consistent. In Cassirer’s view, human self-awareness is a process of moving from integrity to fragmentation, leading to the emergence of a crisis in self-awareness. The article focuses on textual research and attempts to analyze the changes in the study of human issues in the history of philosophy from the first chapter of “On Man”. Based on Cassirer’s viewpoint, it explores how humans should engage in self-awareness and overcome crises.
