浅析高考英语阅读理解测试对高中阅读教学的反拨作用

Abstract:
语言测试的反拨作用是指测试对教学所产生的影响,大量学者对反拨作用的研究促进了教学的发展。本文旨在探讨中国高中教育阶段中,高考阅读理解测试对学生阅读教学的反拨作用。通过对近三年重庆地区全国高考II卷阅读理解测试的案例分析,从主题语境、语篇类型、文章长度和易读度三个方面来进行剖析,本研究揭示了考试内容和形式对日常阅读教学策略、教材选择、课堂教学方法以及学生阅读习惯形成的影响。同时,研究还针对如何优化中考阅读理解测试,以促进阅读教学质量的提升提出了相关建议。
The washback effect of language testing refers to the impact of testing on teaching and learning, and a large number of scholars have studied the counterproductive effect to promote the development of teaching and learning. The purpose of this paper is to explore the washback effect of the college entrance examination reading comprehension test on students’ reading teaching in Chinese high school education. By analyzing the case studies of the reading comprehension test of the College Entrance Examination national paper II in Chongqing for the past three years in terms of thematic context, discourse type, text length and readability, this study reveals the impact of the test content and format on the daily reading teaching strategies, selection of teaching materials, classroom teaching methods, and the formation of students’ reading habits. At the same time, the study also puts forward suggestions on how to optimize the reading comprehension test in order to promote the improvement of the quality of reading teaching.
