“八卦穴”穴位考
Investigation of “Bagua Point”

八卦穴是小儿推拿临床常用的穴位之一，多用于治疗脾、肺系疾病。八卦穴取穴理论来源于易学中的后天八卦学说。由于涉及八卦方位问题，临床多取左手操作。古代小儿推拿专著中对八卦穴多有记载，清代以后多取左手推之，现代应用亦多遵循此说，关于右手是否有八卦穴及右手八卦穴之方位则少有讨论。本文通过整理相关文献，厘清左右手八卦穴之定位及相关操作，认为医理不能大于易理，故左右手内外八卦方位均应与后天八卦之方位保持一致，不能随意变易。
Bagua point is one of the commonly used points in Paediatric Tuina, which is mostly used to treat the diseases related to spleen and lung system. The origin of the theory of the Bagua points originated from the theory of later heaven eight trigrams in the Zhouyi Study. As it involves the direction of the eight trigrams, it is usually operated with the left hand in clinical treatment. In the ancient books of Paediatric Tuina, there are many records of the Bagua point, since the Qing Dynasty, the left hand has been the preferred choice for Paediatric Tuina, this is also the practice followed in modern times. There is limited discussion on whether there are Bagua points on the right hand and the location of the eight trigrams on the right hand. This article clarifies the location and operation of the Bagua points on the right and left hands by collating relevant literature. We regard that the theory of Chinese medicine is originated from the theory of I Ching, therefore, the level of the theory of medicine should not be higher than the theory of I Ching. Hence, the directions of the eight trigrams on the palms and backs of the hands should be consistent with the directions of the later heaven eight trigrams, and should not be changed arbitrarily.
