人类进入21世纪，全球化发展态势迅猛，各国间经济、政治、科技、文化等各领域的往来持续加强，交流市场广阔，翻译行业迎来如火如荼的发展机遇。机器翻译和人工翻译都处于高速发展阶段，随着人工智能的发展，机器翻译和人工翻译是否是处于同一赛道的竞争对手呢？或是不久的将来，机器翻译是否会直接取代人工翻译呢？本文结合机器翻译与人工翻译的实质特点、结果比较以及人工翻译市场发展状况，对以上问题进行分析探讨，以期为人工翻译前景分析研究提供参考依据，引导更多人才投身翻译事业，更好地服务“国际国内双循环”国家战略。
In the 21st century with the strong momentum in development of globalization, the exchanges among countries in various fields such as economy, politics, science and technology and culture have been continuously strengthening, therefore, the exchange market is broad, which offers the translation industry a full swing of development opportunities. Machine translation and human translation are both at a rapid development stage. With the development of artificial intelligence, are machine translation and human translation competitors on the same track? Or will machine translation directly replace human translation in the near future? This paper analyzes and discuss-es the above issues based on the essential characteristics, results comparison of translation and market development status of machine translation and human translation respectively, in order to provide a reference for the analysis and research of the prospect of human translation, guide more talents to join the translation career, and better serve the national strategy of “International and Domestic Double Cycle”.
