三维转换视角下《当你老了》两个中译本评析
A Review of the Two Chinese Translations of When You Are Old from the Perspective of Three-Dimensional Transformation

本文基于生态翻译学相关理论的研究成果，选用的是袁可嘉和冰心两位译者的作品来进行中译文对比分析。两个译本都是《当你老了》最为典型的译本，而两位译者在翻译过程中各有取舍和侧重，从而两种版本在遣词造句上都有差异。本文重在基于“三维”视角分析这些差异，分别找出两个中译本在语言维、文化维和交际维三个层面进行适应性转化过程中呈现的特点，以及各自译本的偏重所在，从而加深读者对源文和译文的了解，促进中外文化交流。
Based on the research results of ecological translation theory, this paper selects the works of two translators, Yuan Kejia and Bing Xin, for comparative analysis of Chinese translations. Both transla-tions are the most typical translations of When You Are Old, and the two translators have their own trade-offs and emphases in the translation process, so the two versions have differences in the choice of words and sentences. This paper focuses on analyzing these differences from a “three-dimensional” perspective, and finds out the characteristics of the adaptive transformation of the two Chinese translations in the three levels of language, culture and communication, as well as the emphasis of the respective translations, so as to deepen the reader’s understanding of the source text and the translated text, and promote cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
