功能对等理论视角下商务英语信函的翻译研究
Study on Business English Letter Translation from the Perspective of Functional Equivalence Theory

随着经济全球化和贸易日益一体化的发展，商务英语信函在国际商务活动中发挥着越来越重要的作用。商务英语信函是传递和交流商务信息、促进商务合作的重要桥梁。1969年，美国著名语言学家、翻译家尤金？奈达(Eugene Nida)提出了功能对等理论。本文在功能对等理论的指导下，指出商务英语信函的翻译应遵循专业性和准确性的原则，在翻译过程中采用直译、意译、省译和增译等翻译方法。从功能对等理论的角度探讨商务英语信函的翻译原则和翻译方法，从而提高商务英语信函的翻译水平。
With the development of global economic integration and the increasing integration of global trade, business English letters play an increasingly important role in business activities. The business English letters are significant bridges to convey and communicate the business information and promote the business cooperation. In 1969, Eugene Nida, the famous American linguist and translator, put forward the Functional Equivalence Theory. Under the guidance of the functional equivalence theory, this paper points out that the translation of business English letters should follow the principles of professionalism and accuracy, and the translation methods such as literal translation, liberal translation, omission and amplification should be adopted in the translation process. And the paper explores the translation principle and translation methods of business English letters from the perspective of functional equivalence theory, so as to improve the translation of business English letters.
