基于语料库的《呐喊》两个英译本翻译风格比较研究
A Corpus-Based Study on the Styles of Two English Versions of Call to Arms

本研究以鲁迅小说《呐喊》的两部经典英译本为语料，采用自建语料库的方法，分别从词汇、句法和语篇这三个方面分析两个不同版本译本的译者翻译风格，并结合译者翻译标准和策略、译者时代背景和翻译目的进行译者风格成因的分析。研究结果表明，杨戴译本短句较多，具备口语特征，句式灵活多变，易读性较高；而蓝译本句法复杂程度高，长句较多，相较杨戴译本更易读。
This study analyzes the translation styles of two classic translations of Call to Arms based on the self-constructed corpus from the aspects of vocabulary, syntax and discourse. Also, the study further investigates the causes of the translation styles on the translators’ translation criteria and strategies, background, and translation purpose. The research findings show that version translated by Yang takes a flexible sentence pattern with many short sentences, which has oral features and higher readability. Meanwhile, Lovell’s version conveys syntactic complexity with a lot of long sentences, which is easily comprehensible to the readers compared with Yang’s version.
