Abstract:

英语学习的基石是词汇,词汇是语言能力的关键组成部分之一。而英语词汇教学是中国高中英语教学不可或缺的一个环节,这直接影响到学生英语能力的发展。随着中国高中课程改革的推进,高效的词汇教学至关重要。但是,由于英语教师对词汇缺乏足够的重视,导致目前中国高中生学习词汇的效率依旧低下。因此,本文试探性地分析了目前高中英语词汇教学效率低下的三个主要原因,并由此讨论了三种教师可以帮助有效提高学生词汇学习效率的方法。
The cornerstone of English learning is vocabulary, and English vocabulary is one of the key components of English language proficiency. Teaching English vocabulary is an integral part of English teaching in Chinese senior high schools, which directly affects the development and improvement of students’ English proficiency. With the advancement of curriculum reform in Chinese senior high schools, efficient vocabulary teaching is crucial and necessary. However, the lack of sufficient attention to vocabulary by English teachers has led to the fact that Chinese high school students’ learning of vocabulary remains inefficient at present. Therefore, this article tries to analyse the three main reasons for the current inefficiency of senior high school English vocabulary teaching and, as a result, discusses three ways in which teachers can help to effectively improve the students’ vocabulary learning.
