|
Abstract:
Through the integration of some problems in self-identity research, Schwartz creatively proposed an individualized process model of identity construction and discovery. This model believes that the process of identity individuation is the realization of individual strengths and potentials in the interaction with the environment. Individuals go through self-construction and pre-discovery from lack of individuation and finally achieve self-realization. Whether the individual switches to the process of rational self-construction or represents its best, the process of self-discovery of potential produces a corresponding state of identity. This paper elaborates on the background of the individuation process model, and analyzes the stage model of the individuation process. On this basis, it expands and integrates the research on the formation process and state of self-identity, and more clearly illustrates the change process of the identity state. It also further deepens the understanding of the identity of individuation.
