"I WATCHED, GETAFFECTED, AFFECTED (DO I?)": TEACHER VIEWS REGARDING MOVIES FOCUSING ON DIVERSITY

This study which is carriedout to determine the effects of teachers’ choice of movies focusing on diversity on their education life and views, beliefs, attitudes is a qualitative phenomenological research. Sample group of the research is determined by criterion and snowball sampling. 20 teachers from different fields have participated in the research. Personal information form and semi-structured inter view form areused as data collection tool. Descriptive analysis is used for obtaining data analysis. At theend of the research, it is seen that teachers are affected by scenes including intense individual effort, teacher support and success and that these movies make teachers develop a positivepoint of view on inclusive education and being teacher of all students
