PROPOSITIONS DEVELOPED ON A STRATEGICAL AND STRUCTURAL INVESTIGATION OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL CONFIGURATION APPROACH

The study has been conducted to develop various propositions depending on the determination of the appropriate configuration choice between the strategy and structure components of organizations within the context of the organizational configuration approach. As a result of the literature review made regarding the topic; it has been determined that the relationship between strategy and structure should be considered more comprehensively. In this context, an attempt has been made to examine the interaction between strategy and structure and to show that stable structures can be obtained by selecting appropriate configurations, rather than searching for a relationship between several different variables. In this context, by making a synthesis between various strategy and structure configurations; defining common configurations and trying to examine the interactions between them indicate the aim of this study. In order to realize this aim and to be able to analyze the current problem "Is it possible to choose a suitable common configuration depending on the relationships and preferences between the strategy and the building components?", the output of the study constitutes propositions developed according to the literature. It is believed that revealing such relationships will bring different perspectives to the related literature. Also, the study is aimed to be supported by the propositions developed among the cases difficult to observe on the basis of theoretical and scientific realism
