Schwannoma of the Prostate: A Rare Case Report and Literature Review

Introduction: We present a case of a schwannoma that originated in a prostate. It is very rare location presenting Schwannoma. Case report: A 64-year-old man presented with severe lower urinary tract symptoms. On digital rectal examination, there was a grade 3 enlarged prostate without nodules and tenderness. The transrectal ultrasonography revealed that prostate volume was 200 cc. Retroperitoneal transvesical prostatectomy was performed because of huge prostatic enlargement.Histopathology showed schwannoma of prostate. Conclusion: Owing to the lack of characteristic clinical
